Map of the Fires in Australia

This composite image of the fires in Australia by Anthony Hearsey was made using data from NASA’s FIRMS (Satellite data regarding fires) between 05/12/19 – 05/01/20. These are all the areas which have been affected by bushfires (click to enlarge).

  1. The Map shows the huge Yarloop fire of January 2016 so at least 4 years worth of fires show. I suspect more like 10 years of fires shown

  2. This map is rubbish, NOT TRUE. Anyone who believes it has obviously never been to these areas highlighted as on fire. I know for a certain there are large areas lit that do not support bushfire having been to nearly all remote parts of Australia if not with kms of each spot shown on this map as on fire, across deserts, through the rainforest, everywhere over many decades. Lefty propaganda material.
The map has also been disproven by media here in Australia.
