Every Olympic Logo 1896-2022

Well, the logo thing only really started in the 30’s – what they had before that were more like posters. Interestingly, the olympic symbol’s popularity and widespread use began during the lead-up to the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin. It’s quite eerie in light of the fact that the rings are meant to represent the five participating continents: Africa, Asia, America, Australia and Europe. In a few years’ time they were in flames, but those flames weren’t olympic at all, so to speak.
