The Real Babel Fish: Earpiece Translates Languages in Real Time

Wow, here comes a device that is said to translate speech like the Babel fish in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. The feat has been achieved by Waverly Labs and the result is actually called The Pilot. When it hits the shelves in September, the system will allow the wearer to understand certain foreign languages (French, Spanish, Italian, and English) through real-time in-ear translation, with a handy smart phone app allowing you to toggle through languages.

The earfish, I mean earpiece, will retail for $129, and you can pre-order it here. Check out video below the pictures to learn more about how it works.
