Apparently, Fritz Kahn’s stuff had its influence in Asia too, as these 1933 Chinese health education posters analogize the human body to an industrial factory in a rather similar manner. The US National Library of Medicine has a great collection of these strikingly illustrated posters, as well as a second set of posters from 1951. They look cool, even without understanding the language.
